Want to impress friends, clients or celebrate a special occasion with a unique dining experience which guarantees the highest quality cuisine, enchanting ambience and sparkling company? Well now you can as celebrity chef, Tony Singh MBE, throws open the doors of his Edinburgh home, every Friday and Saturday evening, to stage the most stylish of supper clubs.
Offering his inimitable fusion of Scottish and Asian flavours, Tony’s newest venture will take diners on a gastro-journey of quirky modernised cuisine for which he is so well loved. Hosted in the comfort of Tony’s kitchen, diners will enjoy a stunning array of dishes throughout the eight-course extravaganza, based on the best of the season’s ingredients. During the evening, there will be plenty of time to chat to Tony about his cooking tools, techniques and top tips. Guests will be regaled with his tales of dining with royalty, catering for celebrities and his recent expedition to the Arctic for charity – meanwhile a veritable feast is created before your eyes. Known for his effervescent personality, Tony wants to encourage diners to get creative with food, producing exceptional flavours showcased during the supper club – this is a culinary experience not to be missed.
Tony explains, “I’m really excited to welcome foodie lovers to my home. I love sharing my knowledge and experiences with diners, so what better way to do it than around my kitchen table over exceptional food.” Tony is joined by his enchanting wife, Bechan, who instantly makes diners feel at home, and there are ten remaining seats at the table, which can be booked individually or as a couple or group. “It’s a wonderful experience, many people arrive at our home as strangers but leave as friends,” Bechan says.
A fourth-generation Sikh, Tony was born and raised in Leith, Edinburgh. His love of food began at his mother’s knee before attending Telford College to train classically as a chef. Later accolades include prestigious roles working at the Balmoral Hotel, Skibo Castle, Gravetye Manor and on board The Royal Scotsman and the Royal Yacht Britannia. More recently, Tony has launched his own award-winning restaurants and received several awards for his culinary talents, culminating in an MBE for his services to the Food and Drink Industry in December 2016.
At a time when staying in is the new going out, Tony’s ‘at home’ supper clubs are set to become the hottest tickets in town. All enquiries can be made via Tony’s website (www.tonysingh.co.uk)
A place at the table costs £150 and the evening starts at 7pm.
