Located at the very top of The Royal Mile, in the impressive shadow of Edinburgh Castle, Cannonball House is a three-storey eating and drinking experience. One of Edinburgh’s oldest recorded buildings, the name comes from the cannonball shot lodged in the wall facing the castle.

The architectural redesign was scoped by Kerr Blyth of KBAD, the interior was designed by Edinburgh-based interior designers Ampersand. Thomas Johnson of Glasgow were the principal contractor. Cannonball Bar mixes a stylish, contemporary whisky bar atmosphere with authentic influences directly from Glengoyne Distillery, near Loch Lomond.
