Multi-award winning brasserie launch festive menus for less

With Christmas fast approaching, multi-award winning luxury brasserie Dine has launched its new festive menus, designed by acclaimed Michelin-starred chef Stuart Muir.

Perfect for joyful reunions with family and friends to festivities with colleagues, the innovative menus of locally sourced festive fayre extend far beyond the traditional turkey dinner and, refreshingly, won’t cost the earth either.

Prices start at £21.50 for two courses or £27.50 for three courses on the midweek Festive Lunch Menu (inclusive of tea or coffee). For those who want to celebrate early or have a show to catch, the Festive Early Dining or Festive Pre-Theatre is sure to impress at £17.50 for two courses and £23.50 for three courses. Festive Midweek Evenings (from 7 pm) are £23.50 for two courses or £29.50 for three courses. And for those who want even more indulgence then the gourmet a la carte menu is still available.

At the weekend escape the Christmas shopping rush with a relaxed lunch every Saturday or Sunday afternoon costing £47.50 per couple including three courses plus a bottle of house wine to share or glass of Devaux Grande Reserve Champagne each.

And on Boxing Day ditch the leftovers and let Dine do all the hard work. Following a glass of Prosecco on arrival, a three-course gourmet meal plus tea or coffee is just £29.50 per person and available from 12 midday until 8.30pm last sitting.

So what culinary delights can diners expect?

Delicious starters include chicken and cranberry rillette served with a Madeira gel, pickled beetroot and toasted sourdough; smoked salmon with lemon and dill cream cheese served with compressed cucumber; caramelised goat’s cheese with soused winter vegetables; and a roasted tomato soup with basil and crème Fraiche.

For mains there is flavoursome pan-fried seabass with harissa roast vegetables and gordal olives; succulent roast chump of lamb with thyme and garlic mash; crisp confit leg of duck with mulled wine cabbage and fondant potato; and strozzapreti with wild mushroom, tarragon and roasted chestnuts.

Christmas sweets treats are equally appealing. For those looking for a traditional festive finish, there’s Christmas pudding with brandy cream; spiced apple crumble with clotted cream or Stilton with caramelised pear and walnut bread.

Cocktails too

And at Dine’s intimate cocktail lounge the team of mixologists have created an exclusive menu of seasonal cocktails with showstoppers including the Claus Martini with vanilla and pomegranate vodka, garnished with a chocolate and peppermint pretzel; white mulled wine with sloe gin, blanco rum, white wine bay leaves syrup and cranberry juice; the Snow Flake which is made with gin, maple and berries water and fresh lemon; and the return of 2017’s best-selling Santa’s Punch which is made with spiced gin, apple cider, cloves and lemon.
