After a very busy December, we decided to treat ourselves and book Christmas Eve dinner at The Honours on North Castle Street.
We went last December and thoroughly enjoyed our evening so when we checked The Honour’s online reservations, and there was availability at 8.45 on Christmas Eve we quickly booked it.
This was our night for relaxing so we decided to do a photo blog for our evening rather than a full review of our meal.
We started our evening at Chaophraya for cocktails.  This is ideally situated for pre dinner drinks and the terrace has amazing views of the city,
I had a Thai Cocktail – Purple Mist: Ophir Gin and blackberry liqueur, shaken with fresh basil, cranberry juice and freshly squeezed lime juice, served in a martini glass and garnished with a basil boat and cracked black pepper.£8.45
Raymond had a “Long and Lazy” cocktail -Poached Pear Gin Fizz:  Their famous poached pear cocktail with Plymouth Gin and Xante pear cognac, mixed with homemade pear syrup then shaken with fresh lemon juice and topped with soda  £8.45
Both cocktails were delicious and set us up well for the feast ahead.
Service and the food at The Honours were both excellent and we had a lovely Christmas Eve meal.
