After launching its brand-new concept store in November last year, eteaket – the Edinburgh’s leading leaf tea expert – has added to its offering, due to popular demand, to include a Tea to Go service.
The Scandi-vibe store at 111 Rose Street has become a hub for the Capital’s tea lovers who never fail to find something new and exciting to sample and buy, but the pressure has been on eteaket Founder, Erica Moore and her knowledgeable team to provide tea to takeaway for the last few months, “Our customers have been asking for us to have a menu of takeaway teas to help get them through their working day, so how could we refuse?”
The Tea to Go Menu will be an ever-changing smorgasbord of speciality teas from the eteaket leaf tea range. Start your day with the traditional and invigorating Breakfast Blend of hand-picked Ceylon and Assam black teas, or show your refined side with the elegant Royal Earl Grey – a whole leaf Ceylon tea scented with natural Bergamot Oil and embellished with cornflowers to create a truly regal flavour. Or for those in need of a morning pick-me-up the Blooming Marvellous tea would be an inspired choice. Flavoured Sencha green leaf is expertly blended with bright mallow and sunflower petals, exquisite rosebuds, sweet vanilla and fresh tangy fruit. Creating a sweet and slightly floral green tea with bags of taste and personality. This lively blend will be sure to put a spring in the step of any sleepy head.
eteaket’s speciality tea lattes will also be available on an ever-changing basis. Whether it’s a Bollywood Chai Tea Latte, Mighty Matcha Latte or a Chilli Rooibos Tea Latte there really is something to excite and entice everyone. They cater for soya lovers too of course. Erica explains the decision to keep the tea flavours rotating,

As we’re coming into the Summer months you’ll also be able to purchase the Cold Brew tea of the day in specially designed recyclable bottles. The tea is steeped overnight in cold water and a little magic to create a wonderfully refreshing drink.
The well-known and much loved eteaket branding of teal and turquoise will be translated onto the takeaway cups and eteaket aims to launch reusable keep cups shortly that you’ll be able to buy from the concept store so that regulars can refill each day with a fresh brew at a discounted price.
Tea to Go will begin at eteaket April 24th with Hot Tea priced at £1.90 across the board (they want to be able to experience the whole range easily, even super rare teas like Big Red Robe Oolongs), Cold Brew Bottles will be £2.00 and the ‘must be tried to be believed’ Tea Lattes will be £2.50.
