A Wee Taste of Edinburgh Walking Food and Drink Tour

My name is Karly and I am the owner of ‘A Wee Taste of Edinburgh’, a tour company offering walking food and drink tours off the beaten track in Edinburgh.

I created my tour to give visitors an authentic take on the capital city, through the eyes of locals, whilst giving back to the community by providing custom to small independent eateries.

Your Scottish food and drink journey will begin outside the historic Barclay Viewforth Church in Bruntsfield. From there we will visit Edinburgh’s biggest park and greenspace, the Meadows, for some history about what really happened on this land that dates back to Medieval times. We will then travel on foot to two historic, artisan areas of Edinburgh where we will visit 4 over-the-counter eateries and two drink establishments to sample some of Scotland’s finest traditional culinary delights and alcohol, taking in the history of these areas as we go.

You will meet the owners of the eateries who will tell you a wee bit about their business and how their food was lovingly made.

If you’re up for a good time, love food, drink and a bit of history thrown in whilst discovering a different side of Edinburgh then this tour is perfect for you!

Your tour will last around 3hrs and 30 mins meeting at the Barclay Viewforth Church in Bruntsfield.

£40 per adult

Summer tours are offered Monday-Friday at 2pm
