Five Star Glamping luxury close to Edinburgh

Five-star venue close to Edinburgh, Dundas Castle, offers luxurious glamping on the shores of a secluded loch on the estate. With ensuite shower rooms, comfy beds and pillows, private decking and views across the loch, the glamping “canvas cottages” represent the finest way to enjoy the great outdoors in total comfort. Ten tents are available, including one with full disabled access and there is plenty of parking, space to roam and just the sound of the wildlife to enjoy.

Private decks feature gas barbecues, large umbrellas, patio heaters, comfortable tables and chairs and total privacy. Within the tents the luxury continues with woodburning stoves, a cupboard packed with kitchen equipment, solar powered lighting and chargers, hot water bottles and hospitality trays. Within the ensuite shower room are composting toilets, sinks and hot showers, plus fluffy white towels and eco-friendly toiletries.

Dundas Castle glamping is a really unforgettable and special experience, ideal for those visiting Edinburgh’s festivals: only 25 minutes from the city centre, yet secluded and romantic.

Ideal for families too, camp beds for additional children can be supplied and children love exploring the estate and the surrounding area.

Fabulous visit! Such a special peaceful spot next to the loch. The cottages have every home comfort you could wish for and you feel right at home very quickly. We cooked dinner and breakfast on the deck and sat out late into the night with the cosy patio heater and hot water bottles for comfort. The perfect place to stay if you want to be close to Edinburgh and enjoy all it has to offer but be far enough away to relax in the beautiful grounds of Dundas Castle. Wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommended
