We are a charity & social enterprise in the heart of Edinburgh Old Town. We have a long history of supporting Edinburgh’s most vulnerable, and to do that we run an award-winning event space where you can celebrate weddings, hold a ceilidh or arrange a conference with the knowledge that the organisation and the food will be second to none.

As well as operating a community café and woodwork and tartan social enterprises, the Grassmarket Community Project offers a range of social integration and educational activities for members aimed at enhancing life skills and developing confidence. These include cookery and baking classes, art, drama, IT, reading and writing, sewing and photography.

The Grassmarket Community Project also sell Tartan Greyfriars dogs in their own tartan along with a whole host of other gifts.
