This December, the Edinburgh New Town Cookery School (ENTCS) has a range of festive foodie courses to help with Christmas entertaining. Whether it’s inspiration for Christmas recipes, guidance on how to plan the perfect holiday party, or thinking up the perfect gift idea, ENTCS has got it covered.
From ‘Christmas Canapes’ to ‘Easy Entertaining’ and ‘Children’s Baking’, courses are designed to inspire festive flavours, add some Christmas sparkle to a party, or to simply keep the kids busy while doing the Christmas shopping.
In the Christmas selection this year is the popular ‘Festive Fizz’ event – ideal as a gift, for a couple or small group of friends who can enjoy a fun and sociable evening comparing Proseccos, Champagnes, Cava’s and New World Sparklers to find their perfect fizz.
Lovers of beer can explore beer and food matching using top quality Scottish produce to bring together the best of both worlds, at the ‘Beer and Food Matching’ – a great course for couples, friends, fathers and sons, or the perfect bonding opportunity for a father-and-son-in-law.
Fiona Burrell, principal of the school, comments:
Spread the joy a little further by giving a gift voucher for any of ENTCS courses, redeemable in 2018. Whether it’s to allow a foody to learn a new skill, help a friend to fall back in love with cooking, or encourage teenagers to learn their way around the kitchen, a voucher just lets them choose. ENTCS offers courses for everyone. ENTCS also stocks a small selection of kitchen items, aprons, tea towels and books which are perfect stocking fillers.
