Enjoy a taste of authentic Middle Eastern street food

Edinburgh restaurant group ‘Middle East in Edinburgh’ have announced the launch of their 5th Edinburgh restaurant to join the already established Pomegranate Restaurant, Hanam’s Restaurant, Souq Restaurant and Laila’s Bistro. Pomegranate Express on Nicholson Street will brings a flavour of Middle Eastern street food to Scotland’s capital.

Pomegranate Express offers the same high quality authentic Middle Eastern cooking but in more relaxed cafe and take-away surroundings – perfect for those on the go, students, and theatre goers.

Jamal Ahmed, the owner said:

We are really excited with this new project. Street food is so popular right now and we see this as a natural evolvement of the brand. We pride ourselves on the authenticity of our cooking and our Shawarma is always very popular. We cannot wait to open our doors and welcome everyone in. We just want to have some fun and feed our happy customers.

Pomegranate Express brings you some healthy and colourful Middle Eastern Buddha Bowls, Mezze, Lebanese Breads and of course their signature Shawarma will be constantly on the go! Open 7 days a week from 12.00pm to 11.00pm. Doors open at noon on Monday, March 11th 2019.
