Afternoon Walkies at Orbost, Isle of Skye - summer Afternoon Walkies at Orbost, Isle of Skye - summer flowers and all the blues - fabulous.
It’s a beautiful day here in Skye so I though I It’s a beautiful day here in Skye so I though I would take you with me on this morning’s @donniestabletshed tablet deliveries.  The day started with a beautiful sunrise in Geary - car packed and then off to deliver hospitality tray tablet supplies for Barnweil B&B in Waternish - @millburnbedandbreakfast in Dunvegan and then on to Broadford to @buth_na_habhainn - then it was over the bridge to @1eileandonancastle Food hall and Gift Shop.  On the way back I topped up with beer at @themistybottleskye and refilled some cleaning product empties at @theselkiecollective in Broadford - before heading to PORTREE Filling Station to top them up too!  A beautiful day for a wander.

Breads at @aizle_edinburgh - served with tapenade, Breads at @aizle_edinburgh - served with tapenade, chicken liver parfait with crispy chicken skin sprinkles and delicious butter.  Beautifully crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with so many layers.  Perfect start to the meal.

Best prawn roll in Scotland - we think so! Availa Best prawn roll in Scotland - we think so!  Available from @fishermans_kitchen_kyle just on the old ferry slipway. Look at all these prawns 😍. Why not treat yourself and add a side of chips 🤣- we did 🙈. Also enjoy the most perfect view as you watch the yachts and boats sail under the Skye Bridge.

Bran Flakes - well that is what it started out as! Bran Flakes - well that is what it started out as!  Add some grapes, blueberries and some @leadketty_farm strawberries and raspberries and a wee sprinkling of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and a few chopped almonds and serve with the milk of your choice - my favourite is oat milk.  Thanks again for the berries @leadketty_farm 😍
Roasted Hake - baby gem, sour cream, rosemary pota Roasted Hake - baby gem, sour cream, rosemary potato, garden pesto. Raymond had this dish for his main course at @thethreechimneysskye - land and sea menu.  Which corner to start in?  Do you like everything on your plate separate - and which would you try first - potato - hake - lettuce - pesto ?🤨🤣🙃🤣
Leadketty Farm Strawberries the menu said… with Leadketty Farm Strawberries the menu said… with the description continuing elderflower, black pepper, Heather honey and white balsamic.  Well we know that Leadketty strawberries are the best out there but we will wondered what would arrive.  This picture is actually only half the dish.  Parfait, honeycomb, ice cream, with slightly warm strawberries poured over at the table.  The other half was a strawberries with Elderflower. Ali and Glenys Maclean run Isle of Skye Free Range from Ali’s 150 year old family Croft in Vatten.

Lochcarron Oysters to start at @thethreechimneyssk Lochcarron Oysters to start at @thethreechimneysskye - available 3 ways - Natural with shallots and seaweed vinegar - Dressed - Three Chimney’s gin granita and Cooked (as in the pic) in Skye Black batter with seaweed mayo and served in seaweed.  A lovely start to the meal while deciding what to choose.  They are sold individually so you can mix and match.  I was driving so enjoyed a Feregia Scottish Alcohol free spirit with ginger beer and lime.

Keep an eye on our grid over the next week for full descriptions.  Lunch was fully booked again today so if you are coming to Skye, be sure to book your table in advance so that you don’t miss out.  Many thanks to the Three Chimneys for their invitation.  It’s been a couple of years since we last visited so it was lovely to see all the changes.
